This year, to celebrate International Women’s Day on Wednesday 8th March, Meantime Brewing Company is taking part in International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day (IWCBD).

This is the 10th year of IWCBD, which is a worldwide annual event open to all women working in or interested in beer to learn, network, and make friends. The theme for this year’s brew is “Unite at 10”.

The brewery is throwing open its doors to 15 lucky female participants, who will get to brew 2,000 pints of crisp, sessionable lager on the Meantime pilot kit… and you could be one of them!

It promises to be an action-packed day of hands-on brewing, and will be of interest to anyone who’d like to find out more about the technical aspects of brewing, plus insights sessions on quality, packaging, engineering, and sustainability from the Meantime team.

There are two ways you can get involved:

- Sign up to the ballot for the IWCBD at Meantime Brewing Company - 8.30am - 4pm:

[Ballot now closed] For your chance to take part, please click here to enter the ballot.  [Ballot now closed]

There are limited spaces, so the ballot is open until Friday 17th February and winners will be picked at random on Monday 20th February.

If you’re not London-based, don’t worry! Why not have a look at the other IWCBD events being run across the country and see if there’s one close to you?

- Join us for a drink and a chat in the Meantime taproom - from 4pm:

Whilst the IWCBD ballot is only open to limited numbers, everyone is welcome to join the brewers in the Meantime Taproom from 4pm on the Wednesday 8th March to hear about how they got on over a drink - please join us!
