Pilsner Urquell Taste Akademie Full Terms and Conditions

Open to owners and staff at venues which are eligible to receive “Taste Akademie” training and which satisfactorily complete the “Taste Akademie” training; in all cases who are aged 18 or over, and excluding employees of Miller Brands (UK) Limited and their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.

Promotion Dates

1 June 2015 to 31 March 2016 (“Training Period”);

1 June 2015 to 30 June 2016 (“Promotion Period”)Maximum one entry into each prize draw per venue, maximum one prize draw prize per venue.   

14. To participate in Mystery Shopping:  your manager must arrange a “Taste Akademie” training for your venue to take place within the Training Period.  On successful completion of each “Taste Akademie” training during the Training Period your venue will be eligible for a visit from a mystery shopper within 10 weeks of completion of the training programme.   All venues that successfully complete a training programme will be visited once by a mystery shopper within 10 weeks of completion of the training programme.

15. Mystery shopping:  When approached by the mystery shopper during the Promotion Period at a venue the server will be assessed on his/her ability to comply with the “Taste Akademie” training.  If the server can deliver the “Perfect Pour” as detailed in the training programme (serve in tankard, pint to line within 2mm, head size 18mm (within 2mm) then the mystery shopper will allocate the server an Individual Reward.  If the server can, when prompted, accurately relate an approved Taste or Heritage fact regarding Pilsner Urquell the venue’s details will be submitted into the then-current draw period to win a Quarterly Prize.

16. Individual Reward: Each individual who delivers a “Perfect Pour” will instantly win one of 525 £20 Chip & PIN Prepaid MasterCard® (“Card”).  Before use the Card must be registered and activated.  Cards must be treated like cash and must be kept secure at all times. If you lose your card you may lose the money on the card, as you would with cash. The Cash Cards are subject to issuer terms and conditions, see here for details.

17. Prize Draw Prize:   One venue will win a two night trip for two to Plzen, Czech Republic. Prize includes: return economy flights from a London airport (to be determined by the Promoter) to the Czech Republic; return transfers from the airport to hotel; three nights’ accommodation (double or twin room) at a 4- or 5-star hotel with breakfast included.  Transfers to and from UK airport not included, no travel insurance, no spending money to be provided (except as specified).  Guest must be over the age of 18.  Prize must be taken within one year of date of winner notification and may not be taken over Christmas, New Year, Easter or public or bank holidays in the UK or in the Czech Republic.  Dates are subject to availability.   For further details on the Manager Prize see clause 11. 

18. Prize Draw winner selection:  All qualifying entries received within the timeframes as set out in the table below will be submitted into a random draw from all valid entries in the prize pool under the supervision of an independent observer within 6 weeks of the end of the relevant prize draw period.

19. Winner notification:  The winners will be notified by telephone or email within 10 working days of the relevant draw, using the contact details provided to the mystery shopper.  Winners have 14 days to respond to initial notification confirming they wish to claim the prize, and failure to comply with this timeframe may result in disqualification of that winner and the prize being awarded to the next-highest participant as determined in the same manner. 

20. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.  Prize is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

21. Further Quarterly Prize details:

a.                    Winners will be required to provide proof of age and identity and any documentation as reasonably required by the Promoter in order to validate their eligibility to claim the prize;

b.                   Winner and guest must be over 18 years of age;

c.                    If the winner is unable to accept the prize, no compensation will be provided;

d.                   All travel bookings will be made via the Promoter’s nominated travel agency and must be made at least 6 weeks in advance of proposed travel dates; 

e.                   Once a booking has been confirmed no changes are permitted;

f.                     If a booking is cancelled no alternative tickets will be issued;

g.                    The winners are responsible for ensuring that they are in possession of appropriate travel insurance, valid passports (minimum 2 clear pages, minimum 6 months validity from proposed date of return), visas and all health or other Government requirements prior to departure; 

h.                   All travel is subject to the airline’s standard terms and conditions. Once booked, flights cannot be altered or amended and no refunds are possible; 

i.                     Prize flights cannot be used in conjunction with any airline loyalty programme, any other discount, discount coupon(s) or voucher(s), promotion(s) or special offer; 

j.                     once flight tickets have been issued, the Promoter, shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by (but not limited to) weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, or any other circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter or travel companies; and

k.                    All expenses not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions will be the responsibility of the winner.

 

22. No correspondence will be entered into

23. The name and region of the winners will be available by sending an email to customer.services@millerbrands.co.uk[JM3] [ZL4] ] with “Taste Akademie Prize Winners” and the month for which you require the winner list in the subject header to arrive not less than 10 weeks after the end of the relevant Quarterly Draw Period.

 

14.  No responsibility is accepted for entries or records of mystery shopping lost, corrupted or delayed in transmission or as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

 

15. Winners may be required to participate in publicity arising from the promotion.

 

16. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury suffered by any entrant entering the promotion or as a result of accepting any prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

 

17. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons (including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion), the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.

 

18. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which us beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.

 

19. The Promoter is not liable for third party products or services and prizes are subject to the prize supplier’s terms and conditions.

 

20. By taking part in this promotion all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.

PERONI NASTRO AZZURRO SERVITO CON STILE STAFF TRAINING PROGRAM 

Full Terms and Conditions

1.     Open to owners and staff at venues which are eligible to receive “Servito Con Stile” training which have satisfactorily completed the “Servito Con Stile” training in all cases who are aged 18 or over, and excluding employees of Miller Brands (UK) Limited and their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.

2.     Promotion Dates:

  1. 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016 (“Training Period”);
  2. 1 June 2015 to 30 June 2016 (“Promotion Period”).

3.     One entry per venue, one Draw Prize per venue during the entire Promotion Period.  Maximum two Rewards per person.

4.     To participate in Mystery Shopping:  your manager must arrange “Servito Con Stile” training for your venue, to take place within the Training Period.  On successful completion of the “Servito Con Stile” training during the Training Period your venue will be eligible for two visits from a mystery shopper before the end of the Promotion Period, and usually within 8 weeks (visit one) and 10 weeks (visit two) of completion of the training programme.   Not all venues that apply to participate in the training programme will be able to participate.  All venues that successfully complete the training programme will be visited by a mystery shopper.

5.     Mystery shopping:  When approached by the mystery shopper during the Promotion Period at a venue the server will be assessed on all aspects of the training programme.  If the server is deemed to have satisfied the mystery shopper by demonstrating the required skills to a minimum level  of 100% of the total points available based on the following standards:

  1. Pint to Line Venues:   (a) branded glassware 55%; (b) Pour the beer to the pint line 15% (within 5% of the pint line), (c) Advocacy (not recommending any other larger brand unless also mention Peroni Nastro Azzurro) 15%; (d) Head size 15mm (within 3mm) then the mystery shopper will allocate the server a Reward randomly from the available Rewards.  If the Reward is the second Reward to be granted to a server in the venue then the mystery shopper will include the venue’s details into the then current prize draw.
  2. Brimfull Venues: a) branded glassware 55%; (b) Advocacy (not recommending any other larger brand unless also mention Peroni Nastro Azzurro) 22.5%; (c) Head size 5mm (within 2mm) 22.5% then the mystery shopper will allocate the server a Reward randomly from the available Rewards.  If the Reward is the second Reward to be granted to a server in the venue then the mystery shopper will include the venue’s details into the then current prize draw.

6.     Individual Reward: Each individual who passes the criteria to meet the Threshold (see clause 5) will instantly win one of 3830 Chip & PIN Prepaid MasterCard® (“Card”) (split as follows: 40 x £150 Cards, 1000 x £50 Cards; and 2790 x £20 Cards).  Before use the Card must be registered and activated.  Cards must be treated like cash and must be kept secure at all times. If you lose your card you may lose the money on the card, as you would with cash. The Cash Cards are subject to issuer terms and conditions, see here for details.

7.     Monthly Prize Draws:  The details of every venue which successfully completes two Mystery Shops will be submitted into a prize draw.  There will be one prize draw from eligible entries per calendar month during the Promotion Period.  The first-selected venue will win the Team Prize, the second-selected venue each month will win the Outlet Prize. 

8.     Team Prize:  Two venues a month will win a night out worth £750 at winner’s choice of venue in the winning venue’s local city (from shortlist provided) for up to 10 staff, to be taken within six months of date of winner verification.  Prize will be arranged by the Promoter and the winner, on a minimum of 4 weeks in advance, and includes food and drink but does not include travel or accommodation if required.  All attendees must be over 18 years of age and may be asked to provide proof of age before entry into, or at, the venue.  If the winning venue is unable to accept the prize, no compensation will be provided.  If a booking is cancelled no alternative tickets will be issued;

9.     Outlet Prize:   One venue a month will win a two-night trip for two to EITHER the Amalfi Coast, Italy, or to Naples, Italy. Prize includes: return economy flights from London to local Italian airport; return transfers from the airport to hotel, two nights’ accommodation (double or twin room) at a 5-star hotel with breakfast included.  Naples prize only – includes £150 spending money.  Transfers to and from UK airport not included, no travel insurance, no spending money to be provided (except as specified).  Guest must be over the age of 18.  Prize must be taken within one year of date of winner notification and may not be taken over Christmas, New Year, Easter or public or bank holidays in the UK or in Italy.  Dates are subject to availability.   For further details on the Outlet Prize see clause 13.

·         MBUK ADM to visit applicants to check for CLOC compliance for CC (client has confirmed that this happens in all cases when an outlet asks to stock PU or K).

·         Upon acceptance to Czech Club and nomination of UPTO 2 staff as ambassadors, outlet will receive a free keg (30L PU, 50L Kozel), vouchers for 5 free pints at a showcase outlet EITHER Duck and Rice (PU stockists) or Fulham Mitre (Kozel), POS and glassware.  Client confirmed kit value £35. 

·         Also when an outlet joins the Czech Club as a stockist of PU, it will be eligible to participate in the PU Taste Akademie – which has free training session, mystery shopping, with the opportunity to win cash reward). 

·         Client has confirmed a similar programme to run for Kozel stockists, not just Czech Club stockists.  Czech Club Kozel reward programme terms to be drafted and supplied by email to CC Kozel members before start of April.

·         Minimum 1 ticket for each ambassador to any of the Taste of London, Foodies Festival, Street Feast events until last event in 2016.

·         The specific Czech Club event in London may happen until March 2017 therefore recommend NOT stating the programme concludes in December 2016 but you could serve notice in December 2016 that the Czech Club will terminate at end of March 2017 (otherwise some attendees at the Czech Club event will be unable to attend before the end of December and therefore will not qualify for an Ambassador Trip. 3.     Maximum one membership per venue.   Maximum 50 members, applications processed in order received.

 

4.     To participate:  Successfully install Kozel Draught or Pilsner Urquell Draught between 00.01 on 1 March 2016 and 23.59 on 30 April 2016.  Request installation in the usual manner by calling your Hills Prospect Account Manager.  Installation is subject to the usual status checks and the standard visit for approval by Kozel or Pilsner Urquell brand team and on approval by the brand team the outlet is a “Qualifying Venue”.  Allow 7 days from submitting request for installation.   Upon installation you will need to appoint a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 Ambassadors.

 

5.     Rewards on Successful Installation :

  1. 1 x free keg of the beer installed – if Pilsner Urquell, a 30Litre Keg and if Kozel a 50Litre keg.  
  2. 5 x vouchers for the staff at your venue (maximum 5) for a pint at a showcase venue specific to the beer you installed. Duck & Rice W1 (if Pilsner Urquell) or the Fulham Mitre (if Kozel).  In both cases, vouchers must be used by 31 December 2016 and no travel or accommodation is included;

 

  1. Point of Sale and glassware kit to a value of £35 per brand. 

 

6.     Programme Activities:

  1. Access to Pilsner Urquell Taste Akademie (PU stockists only) for a training session and the opportunity to win individual cash prizes and a trip to a brewery, see here for full details;
  2. Access to a Kozel mystery shopping programme, to launch in April 2016 to win cash prizes (details and terms and conditions will be emailed out to all Czech Club Kozel members once confirmed, before start of programme); 
  3. Ambassador receives minimum of 1 ticket for his/her choice of Taste of London, Foodies Festival or Street Feast events (ticket valid at events until the end of 2016, see here, here, and here for further details on the events;
  4. Ambassador receives a minimum of 1 invitation to a Czech Club event in Central London to be held between 1 April 2016 and 31 March 2017. 

 

Programme Activities involving events and tickets– dates may be subject to change, no travel, no accommodation is provided and where guest permitted, guest must be a minimum of 18 years old.

 

7.    Member Activities: During the Promotion Period each member of Czech Club should run one of each of the following activities:

a.       Minimum of 1 activation or event. Where Czech Club membership is through Pilsner Urquell, the activities include: sampling, staff incentive, or food pairing.  Where Czech Club membership is through Kozel, the activities include: sampling, staff incentive, food and flight group serve).  In each case, standard terms are available to be used, tailored POS to the value of £50 will be supplied centrally by MBUK, and activity to be agreed beforehand with your account manager;

b.      Ambassador Training Session.  Upon installation the Ambassador will receive training on perfect serve and brand immersion, and is required to deliver formal and informal staff training to pass on their expert knowledge and be responsible for updating new staff.

 

8.     Ambassador Trip:   Upon successful completion of the Programme Activities and the Member Activities, the Ambassador will be eligible for the Ambassador Trip.   This is a two night trip for two for the Ambassador and guest (guest must be over 18 years of age at date of travel) to the Pilsner Urquell Brewery (Plzen) and Kozel brewery (Velké Popovice), Czech Republic. Trip includes: return economy flights from a London airport (to be determined by the Promoter) to the Czech Republic; return transfers from the airport to hotel; three nights’ accommodation (double or twin room) at a 4- or 5-star hotel with breakfast included.  Transfers to and from UK airport not included, no travel insurance, no spending money to be provided (except as specified).  Prize must be taken within one year of date ambassador became eligible and may not be taken over Christmas, New Year, Easter or public or bank holidays in the UK or in the Czech Republic.  Dates are subject to availability.   For further details on the Ambassador Trip see clause 10.

7.         Further main prize details:

a.       Winners may be required to provide proof of age and identity and any documentation as reasonably required to validate their eligibility to claim the prize;

b.      Winners are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guest whilst at the event and expected to comply with terms and conditions together with any applicable venue codes of conduct. Failure to comply with these terms may result in winner and/or guest being asked to leave the venue; and

c.       All expenses not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions will be the responsibility of the winner.

 

8.       Prize Draw Winner Selection:  All valid entries received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period will be submitted into a prize draw to be conducted by an independent body within one working day of the end of the Promotion Period.

 

9.       Main Prize Winner Notification:  The provisional winners will be notified by private message by a brand representative within 1 working day of winner selection.  Winners must respond to winner notification within 14 days of initial contact (using contact details as written by you on the back of the polaroid).  Failure to comply with this timeframe may result in the disqualification of that winner and the prize being awarded to a reserve selected in the same manner.

 

10.   Prize delivery details:  The prize will be delivered within 28 days of confirmation of delivery address within the UK.

 

11.   In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.  Prize is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

15.   The winner may be required to participate in publicity arising from the promotion.  For regulatory reasons, if winner is or looks under 25 the photograph will not be used in publicity.

 

16.   The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury suffered by any entrant entering the promotion or as a result of accepting any prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
