Bestway Polish Rate of Sale Uplift Competition  - Full Terms & Conditions

Open to the 25 Bestway Group depots on the mailing list to receive the invitation (each a “Participating Depot”) to participate, except employees of Miller Brands (UK) Limited and their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally associated with this promotion. 


Promotion Dates: 00:01 on 3 November 2014 to 23:59 on 30 November 2014 (“Promotion Period”).


To enter:  Each Participating Depot must submit a photograph of its Tyskie and Lech branded display by email to info@millerbrands.co.uk before the end of the Promotion Period with “Bestway competition” in the title of the email and the depot reference in the email.  Only Participating Depots which submit this photograph will be eligible to win the prize (which will be determined in accordance with the terms of clause 6).


Qualifying Products are:

Tyskie 20 x 500ml NRB; and

Lech 20 x 500ml NRB.



The winning depot will win a pair of tickets to a top football match final taking place in the National Stadium, Warsaw, Poland on Wednesday 27 May 2015.  The prize includes return economy flights from a London airport (Promoter to determine which airport) on 26 and 28 May 2015; return private transfers from airport to hotel; two nights’ accommodation in 4-star hotel in Warsaw, twin room including daily breakfast.  Prize also includes £35 towards dinner and drinks at Folk Gospoda on 26 May 2015; £45 towards dinner and drinks at Tamka on 27 May 2015; allocated seats behind a goal for the match; travel insurance.  No spending money, UK transfers or transport from hotel to stadium is provided.  Guest must be 18+ at time of event.  


The winning depot will also be featured in a Promoter-sponsored editorial in Jan 2015 edition of “Better Wholesaling”.  


Winner Determination: The Prize will be awarded to the Participating Depot with the largest combined volume sales uplift of both of the Qualifying Products only (see clause 4) between 3 November 2014 and 30 November 2014, against 3 November 2013 – 30 November 2013.  Winner will be calculated by Bestway’s head office EPOS sales data for the relevant time periods and will be verified by an independent party within 10 working days of the end of the Promotion Period.  


Winner Notification: The winning depot will be notified within 10 days of the end of the Promotion Period.  The winning depot has 14 days to respond to initial notification confirming that it wishes to claim the prize.  Failure to comply with this timeframe may result in disqualification of that winner and the prize being awarded to the next-highest participant as determined in the same manner. 


Further prize details:

The prize must be booked through the Promoter’s agent;

Travel to the departure airport is not included;

The winners are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guests whilst participating in the prize and are expected to comply with any third party terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in the winner and/or their guest being asked to leave;

Airline seats, hotel and dates are subject to availability;

Flights will depart from the London airport as determined by the Promoter; 

Tickets are non-refundable or non-transferable;

The winners and their guests must abide by and are subject to the Airline’s published Conditions of Carriage;

Once tickets have been issued, they are only valid for flights and dates shown;

If a booking is cancelled, no alternative tickets will be issued;

Lounge passes and upgrades are not permitted;

The winners and their guests will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; 

Any necessary visas or travel insurance are the responsibility of the winners and their guests and proof of such may be required prior to departure;

Any amendments made by a winner after the booking has been confirmed may be subject to an administrative charge, which will be the responsibility of the winner; 

Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, on-board meals and drinks);

The Promoter will pay the cost of the hotel room plus related room taxes; 

The winners and their guests are solely responsible for any additional charges incurred at the hotel during their stay, including, without limitation, costs of meals, drinks, additional nights and services together with related taxes; and

Any costs or expenses not expressly included in the prize as set out in these Terms and Conditions including without limitation, excess baggage, car parking charges, additional excursions or attractions will be the sole responsibility of the winners and their guests. 

The Promoter is not liable for third party products or services, and the prize is subject to the terms and conditions of any third party supplier element of the  


In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.  Prize is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 


No correspondence will be entered into.


The name and region of the winning Participating Depot will be available by emailing info@millerbrands.co.uk with “Bestway competition winner” in the subject line, to arrive between 5 January 2015 and 15 February 2015.


An independent party will confirm validity of the winner by cross-checking against Bestway Group’s head office EPOS data. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any failure or error in Bestway Group’s head office EPOS data system. No responsibility is accepted for entries or records of sales of Qualifying Products lost, corrupted or delayed in transmission or as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. 


Winner will be required to participate in publicity arising from the promotion. 


The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury suffered by any entrant entering the promotion or as a result of accepting any prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons (including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion), the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.


If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which us beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.


By taking part in this promotion all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.


This promotion is governed by English Law and participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
